Day 2: Journey to the Wild North of Samburu

Accommodation: Samburu Sopa Lodge After a hearty breakfast, meet your dedicated Kenyan driver-guide. Journey north through the vibrant highlands, with a fascinating stop at the equatorial line. The landscape transforms into the beautiful, arid plains of Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge, perched on a hill with breathtaking views. It’s one of the best places on earth to see the endangered black rhinoceros. After lunch at a scenic picnic site, ascend and continue to the charming town of Karatu for a relaxing evening. Day 11: The Giants of Tarangire

Accommodation: Tarangire Simba Lodge Journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Continue to Amboseli National Park at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check into Sentrim Amboseli and, weather permitting, be greeted by the iconic view of Africa’s highest peak.
